IDEAS is an entity under the Prasasti Balairung Pancasila Foundation
Established in 2021, the Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the social, humanitarian, and religious sectors. The Foundation executes its mission through a broad spectrum of activities, ranging from operating educational institutions and vocational training to managing welfare facilities like orphanages and clinics. Its humanitarian efforts focus on environmental conservation, consumer protection, and providing critical aid to disaster victims and the marginalized.
To fulfill its research and educational mandate
the Foundation established IDEAS (Indonesia Institute for Defense, Strategic, and Security Studies). As an independent, interdisciplinary institution, IDEAS provides the intellectual and ethical framework necessary for systemic progress. It operates on the core values of “Familyhood” (Kekeluargaan) and Harmony, bridging the gap between spiritual foundations and technical public policy.
IDEAS specializes in addressing multidimensional crises
—such as the climate-security nexus and geopolitical volatility—by promoting national resilience and local economic sovereignty. Through strategic advisory, specialized research, and holistic leadership training, the institute empowers both government bodies and local communities. By integrating the Foundation’s social mission with rigorous academic advocacy, IDEAS strives to realize a godly, just, and civilized humanity within a global order founded upon abiding peace and social justice.
